NCAA Conferences Races

American Athletic Conference

Louisville is the favorite, while Rutgers and Cincinnati will battle for the #2 spot.  UCF # 4 followed by the rest of the field.

ACC Atlantic

The winner of Florida State – Clemson wins the division.  A surprise Maryland team sneaks into the #3 spot followed by a battle between NC State and Syracuse.

ACC Coastal

Virginia Tech and Miami, FL vie for the top spot followed by a horse race for third with North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Syracuse and Virginia.

I still like Kansas State but will pick Oklahoma State for the top spot.  Oklahoma and Texas for third, Baylor and TCU for fifth.

B1G Legends

One of the most competitive divisions in the country with Nebraska, Northwestern, Michigan State and Michigan all with legit shots.  I like them to fall in that order though.  Nebraska has the easiest schedule.

B1G Leaders

Ohio St. has the inside track but Wisconsin’s schedule lines up well for a 10 or 11 win season, even with the new coaching staff.  Penn State is a competitive third.

C-USA East

Marshall and Eastern Carolina are the favorites but I’ll put the hapless Owls of Florida Atlantic in the mix as this season’s Cinderella.

C-USA West

Tulsa, Louisiana Tech and Rice; in that order.

MWC West

Fresno State followed by a battle between Nevada, San Jose State and San Diego State.

MWC Mountain

Boise State followed by a battle between Utah State, Air Force and Wyoming.

MAC East

All Ohio with Buffalo as a surprise second.

MAC West

All Northern Illinois with Toledo following.

PAC North

Stanford over Oregon with Washington topping Oregon State for third.

PAC South

UCLA over USC with Arizona State over Utah for third.

SEC East

Three horse race between Georgia, South Carolina and Florida.  Dawgs win.

SEC West

Three solids in Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M.  Alabama still the king.

Sun Belt

Louisiana Lafayette, Louisiana Monroe, Western Kentucky and Arkansas State all in the hunt.  ASU has lost both coach and QB so probably fall 4th.
